ABOUT ME


Hi Everyone!

If you were wondering who I was (considering the fact you clicked this), you have come to the right place!

My name is Sarah and I'm a 22-year old Biology major who absolutely loves food! I have been food blogging since I was 17 years old on my food Instagram, SavoringWithSarah. I grew up in an Egyptian household whose culture was centered around food. Any event of any sort, had food as the center of attention, and well because of that, food became the center of my life.

I'm actually allergic to dairy so any recipes that I will post or meals that I eat out will not contain any milk, cheese, yogurt, etc. Except butter. Don't ask why or question it, for whatever reason my body will not put me into anaphylactic shock by eating butter and I am thankful to God for that. 

In addition to my dairy allergy, my meals do not contain pork or alcohol due to religious purposes. "Well, if you can't eat pork, dairy, or alcohol then what do you eat?" is a common question I get asked. With this blog you will learn that there are several ways to dine out or eat in and enjoy your food without such ingredients. Just because I am "missing out" on certain things, does not mean that I am truly missing out. The world is full of so much unknown, and people don't realize that the food world is included in that unknown. There are so many different types of food that people are unaware of and I am here to discover and taste these things to tell the world about them. 

Whether it's making the food myself or going out to a restaurant for a meal, I love it.
