September 2019 Updates
Wow, so I haven't posted on this blog since March 2018 oops.
First, I sincerely apologize about that.
I've had a lot of life changing things happen since from being caught up in school, finding a new job, learning to cook a wider variety of foods, and even aging another year haha.
But for now, hopefully I will at least try to post a blog once a month, since anything beyond at this point in time of my life would be insane.
I recently became a ZipKick Influencer on August 6th! Now what does this mean? It means that I am apart of a global network of influencers of trusted foodies and travelers that pairs with brands in order to help grow and support businesses. As someone married to a business owner, I have realized the importance of wanting to grow a business, and the best way to do that is with influencers who are trusted in the community. I promise as an influencer to always give my honest opinions and I will not advocate something unless I truly stand by it.
Now that I have the title of ZipKick Influencer down, the next goal is to become a Yelp Elite! I have been writing Yelp reviews for years and have been suggesting to friends and family where to eat across San Diego, so I think its now time for myself to reach that goal. Considering the fact that my Instagram is literally all food pictures, I might as well share them with others. Since Yelp is the reason how I even became a foodie in the first place, it is now my turn to pass on the foodie magic to others.
In the long term, aside from working a career in the sciences, as I am a biology major, I hope to one day be featured on the Food Network as a judge on Chopped. I feel once I have reached that point, then I can truly say that I am the ultimate foodie. But as of now, I'm just a foodie.
Anyways my 22nd birthday is coming up in a few weeks and I still need to figure out where I want to go. In the mean time, my head will be stuck in my textbooks in order to achieve my academic goals this semester while balancing extracurriculars and work. It'll be tough but definitely worth it at the end.
If there is anything in particular you would like to see on my blog or anything you'd like me to post about, comment or send me an email at savoringwithsarah@gmail.com
Until next time friends.
