Netflix Snacks
I'm currently obsessed with a Turkish show on Netflix called Ertugrul. It is a show based on the parents, family, and friends of the founder of the Ottoman Empire. I'm usually not a fan of historical shows, but this is a must-watch with family and friends. The amount of heartache I get from the show drives me insane, but it is absolutely amazing to watch since it is based on history. It also makes you be really thankful for the day and age that we live in in terms of technology, housing, food, and safety.
While I watch Ertugrul on Netflix, I always have a ton of snacks with me, because what's the point of watching something if you don't have snacks?

- Sadaf Cardamom Tea (just yelp "Arabic grocery store" and you're bound to find it at whichever Arabic grocer you end up at)
- Carrots, celery, and pita chips with hummus (Mama makes theeee best hummus ever! Her recipe will be posted later on the blog 😉)
- Glazed Donuts
- Bavarian Cream Donuts from Dunkin' Donuts
- Fruits such as watermelon, blueberries, strawberries—any fruit you name, I like it and eat it while watching my show
- Mama's Baklava
- Acai bowls
